Just one more from my postcard collection, then I will give you a rest from them: I wonder how many of the drivers, sweating and cursing, in this jam realized that in a couple of weeks the world would be plunged into war and such scenes would not be possible for another 10 years or so.

Glad you like it Buzzy, here is the same view 21 years later, and it looks as though some of the same cars are still about. Sonewhere I have the same view taken at the turn of the century.

Ah! found it. Same view yet again, don't know the year but if you look to the left of the photo there is a 'Motor Garage' and another sign proclaiming that they are 'Napier' agents. They don't seem to have much chance of passing trade as there isn't a car in sight.
Have to hand it to the photographer, he must have waited around for nearly 60 years to get the three photos.
