Its a Jowett (dont know how I know, I just know)

The spur on the "j" gives it away

Which Jowett is it off?? it looks a bit modern for a '50s Javelin, Bradford or Jupiter for example.

I'm guessing its a step plate or similar. It certainly looks like a step. Maybe a van or a fire pump?

It looks too cheaply made to be from one of the established car or truck manufacturers. Maybe one of the kits cars or special fibreglass body builders?

It is just not that crisp and well proportioned to be from a main stream manufacturer. As previous comment. Maybe a low volume special.

Where was it found ? was there anything else ? and who cleaned it up and/or removed it from whatever it was on ?
