I think that's a typical after market mirror sold by companies like Desmo

Hi
Are you sure it isn't just a generic long-arm aftermarket mirror?
Is there a brand name or number on it somewhere?

Some long-armed mirrors were designed with caravan towing in mind, iirc.

I think they are an aftermarket mirror by a company called TEX. Mirrors and arms sold separately. Popular fitting on Ford though and that extra swept back arm would be especially suitable for the Corsair.

Yes, I agree I think it will be from a Corsair. It looks very much like what was on mine many years ago.

Chelt

The mirrors actually were first used on the Ford Consul 315 Classic. About 1963-ish.
