on the beeb they say it was a privately owned Hurricane..

also talking on the news about a fatal 'copter crash nr Colin McRae's place in Scotland

Why has nobody mentioned the Tiger Moth that crashed the day before the Hurricane?

That makes 3 bad ones in as many days....

Its been a bad last couple weeks for aviation.
National air races at Reno Nevada had 3 crashes in 4 days.

Also the search for Steve Fossett is still ongoing after 2 weeks.

amazingly, Colin McRae's former boss, Dave Richards, also had a helicopter crash this afternoon, on the way back from the Spa GP.. he and his passenger got out this time:
