Morning all,

Opportunities to buy an early E-Type fhc project, one that hasn't been got at but just left to fester, don't come along all too often. This one has a single bid at the opening price of £20k, and I can't help thinking that it'll do better than that, despite its parlous condition with rot in every panel.

IIRC, it sold for £45,000. Now have a look at this one and guess the price.

That's a lot of XJ for the £ agreed, although putting a Series 2 front onto a Series 1 car won't meet with universal approval ..... it'd put me off.

To return to where we started, here is a car last sold for Under £10,000:-



Now we move on a few years, and here is a car sold last weekend at the Revival:-



The first car is 1961 and the second 1962. If you look here you'll see that prices have changed somewhat. Wel, how close were you?
