Hi all,

We've touched on this before. Does anyone else enjoy making new photos look old? It's tricky to eradicate all signs of modernity, as a close look at some of these images will demonstrate Smile

Hi Rick, you've just answered a problem for me. That's what someone has done with a photo of me - I knew I wasn't that old but couldn't figure it out, thanks,JD.

It's my late uncle's Venom Clubman, there's a thread on here about it somewhere from a few years ago. (Goes off to do a search). Here it is: http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/forum/phpbb/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10561.

This next photo was taken a few years ago, maybe in the mid-1990s, but still manages to look a lot earlier IMO...

On Flickr there are a lot of people 'adding age' to there photos, we see a lot of WW2 re-enactors pictures 'aged'. Quite often it doesn't work and really doesn't look authentic. With vehicles I think its easier and more impressive than when people are involved.

I'm afraid these people are far from convincing and I guess I should have removed the TV aerials.

Its weird being the same age as old people.
You are either part of the problem or part of the solution
