| I mainly read fiction to pass the time, there's a never-ending supply of it at car boot sales and the like. I hadn't realised it was WBD until this morning when I heard it mentioned on the radio. |

I hadn't realised it was National Book Day, but as it happens I also am reading an Austin book: Making Cars at Longbridge by Gillian Bardsley and Colin Corke. Perhaps 'reading' is stretching the term as there's not a lot of text, but some excellent early photos which are new to me. _________________ in the garage: a big empty space!
Recently departed: 1938 Talbot Ten, 1953 Lancia Appia, 1931 Austin Seven, 1967 Singer Chamois, 1914 Saxon, 1930 Morris Cowley, 1936 BSA Scout, 1958 Lancia Appia coupe, 1922 Star 11.9 ... the list goes on! |
