I mentioned in my last post that my grandad, Taxi Bill, had designed and built a caravan, presumably on the chassis of the old Daimler, as that's how my mother described it. He designed it with an awning window to be able to serve teas (and probably alcohol!) at the races. There are 2 photos, neither showing the complete caravan; one with Bill and my mother on a bicycle; the other with my grandmother. I'm guessing the photos were taken in the late 1920s.

Another photo shows him driving his earlier taxi with two passengers, most probably bookies; perhaps someone can correct me if this taxi is not the Daimler posted earlier.

Hi Keith,
The car above is not the Daimler or the Vauxhall as both had spoked wheels. The caravan also lacks spoked wheels but may have been built on the chassis of the car above.
Given a little time I suspect that someone will be able to tell you make of this artillery wheeled car from your photo.
