Hi Peter,
I very recently tried to find a modern supplier for my 1930s car and found this company: http://www.bearingshopuk.co.uk/
They have an excellent range of lengths and good prices however I think many cars of our vintage used belts of 19 mm width and the bearingshop like other suppliers do not stock such a width. I thought I'd buy one of their 17 mm belts of the correct ID and OD but unfortunately it bottoms in the pulleys.
The correct belt is quite a tight fit so I thought 17 mm might work if it didn't bottom and it was easier to specify the correct length rather than trying to estimate the length for a belt the next size up (which is 22 mm).
What Ferrodo number is your correct belt?

Thanks for your reply! I will have a look this weekend when I can get to my car which is located a few miles from where I live.

Thanks Mike, That is interesting but my belt has a 32 degree angle which doesn't appear to be listed..

When I was in the UK I used these people, always very helpful and seemed to like a challenge. Based in Gloucester.

Have you tried Collectors Car parts Heathrow?
I searched high and low for belts for one of my vintage lorries and was put in touch with these guys, to my surprise they had two in stock. They have a vast and varied amount of spares. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Thanks.
If I don't have any joy with AC belting I'll give them a try.
