I'm new to this forum, and by way of introduction heres some recent sightings
First up, a few pics of some fairground survivors at Paignton seafront back in August, ERF B series:
Nice looking ERF A series 8 legger:
Foden 4000 series:
True British classic, Gardner powered Atkinson:
Now some pics from the Winkleigh open day a few weeks ago, this Bedford TK unit must be a late one on a 1984/5 'B' plate:
Still being used for graft Unimog:
Sorry looking AEC 6x6 recovery truck:
Industrial tug device:
Karrier Bantom:
One of my favourite light vans is the Bedford HA:
Plenty of old buses on site, thankfully many of the ongoing resto projects are undercover in a former aircraft hanger:
There are many stored outside, like this great Leyland:
Inside another shed was this splendid Leyland Octopus:
With this stunning AEC Mammoth Major for company:
Rotten BMC:
Rode on this Leyland into the village:
Lovely patina of age Bedford:
Austin J2 based camper:

Hi Rick, Winkleigh is a small mid Devon Village which has a former RAF airfield closeby, which happens to be the base for some preservation groups, normally closed to Joe public, they have an open day once a year |
