Hi,
Not sure if this is the right section to post this, but here's a pic of my old trailer. Don't know much about it, I found it in a local scrapyard, years ago and only recently dug it out of my parents garage... Chassis is all wood, even the drawbar and the running gear is trailer specific, rather than old car components. Anyone know anything about it? Age maker etc?

That's smashing! I have a friend who is something of an expert on trailers I'll show the pic to him when I see him...
Bit of weight in the back of that Landie' isn't there?

Er, yes. Rather a lot of Morris Minor spares - engine, wheels, doors axles etc.
I'd just bought another Minor that came with a garage full of bits and it was rude to refuse them... Was rather glad i'd got new springs on the Land Rover - the old ones would have been much worse. The trailer wasn't exactly empty either, but in deference to its age, wooden construction, and a couple of shaky areas I'd only got the lighter bulky items in there.

The first thing that your trailer said to me was, "look at my wheels, aren't they stunning?" 
That is one proud little trailer, you did good removing her from the scrappy!

Glad you like it! It was the first 'old vehicle' I ever bought - I was walking to school when I saw it in the yard and called round on the way home... Been downhill ever since really!
The wheels are very similar to Morris ones, but a different stud spacing. These are six quite small studs. I've been after a spare for it for years and looked at many autojumbles. I had a tyre burst once on the way to Beaulieu AJ from Sheffield and had to suffer the recovery services long winded attempts to source a 5.00x19 tyre and tube from the various Kwik Fit and ATS tyre places in the area, before the grudgingly recovered me home. That explains the spare tyre strapped to the lid and a tube and tyre levers inside - best I've managed to come up with, though never had to try out the roadside tyre change theory yet. (says he touch wooden things etc)
