Hello, my name is Fernando and i own a E83W in fase of restauration.
For start i am sorry for my bad english whriting.

Mine is a 1950 E83W and i love it, its was from my grandparents and now i am decide to put them rolling again.

I will need some advices for the best way to conduct the restauration, and parts, offcorse, the pick-up is 95% complete and i just need new parts and acessories and some repair kits.

Missing the Fuel Pump, the Headligths, Mirrors and Door Windows.

I ask here if anyone know the Make and reference number of the Headlights and Fuel Pump??

Hi Fernando, glad you found the forum ok! your truck looks good - it will be interesting to read about your restoration

the headlamps were made by Butler I think, and are the same as those fitted to the upright Ford Anglia (before the 103E Popular).

the fuel pump is made by AC, same as fitted to the 103E Ford Popular, Ford Prefect E493A and any other 'upright' sidevalve Ford, fitted with the 1172cc engine.

Hi

I am doing an E83w too.

Try: - http://www.smallfordspares.co.uk/ for parts, and then also there are other places. I am getting the side windows cut, for mine, I have one glass for a pattern, if you need the patten I may be able to make it out of paper and then fold it up to send over to you.

There is a chap, I got a load of parts for my lamps from, rimms, recromed reflectors, the glass part etc, so I can give you his details if you like, but he is over here in the UK, he may ship abroad, might be worth asking. Very Happy

Cheers

Dave

this might be what you need (just check that it is suitable for your type of lever arm damper)

Hi

Your chassis does look good, but is it different to mine, do you have an extra set of springs at the back, obviously a tranverse one, but do you have another set at the sides or is this part of the back body structure?

Cheers

Thanks buzzy, in fact my chassis as three sets os springs in the rear, a transverse one and two in the sides.
The side springs, as you can see by the pictures, are atatched only to the rear axle and when the truck is full carry the side springs rest on four wood pads, two in every side.
