Is anyone else enjoying this series?
It's refreshing to see peoples' old family objects being restored, and often with great sensitivity to the originality of the pieces.

yep, I like it. There is a pub I frequent in Chester; Old Cottage that has a pub sign restored on the program. The sign is from another pub that closed down; The Ship Victory, the sign now hangs in the beer garden.

I watch it from time to time, it can be quite fascinating to see how they approach various restoration jobs. It's also quite refreshing that there isn't a ridiculous false jeopardy angle to it as there is in so many programmes these days - I'm otherwise enjoying "Train Truckers" on another channel, but for that part. |
