Trying to find a model for under 50, either kit built or die-cast, of the Bluebird 1931-1933 car, before it was fully streamlined. Here's a picture of the Bluebird I mean

Anyone know of one?

Cheers, Rob

A company called Schylling have been reproducing large-ish models/toys of some landspeed cars in tinplate, I think they may do a Campbell car (not sure which date), might be worth a search on ebay. Not necessarily the best tin toys around, but not bad at the price

I saw this fantastic one for 60, which is very tempting

At Brooklands they had some 1/76 ones in a display case as well as Frazer Nash's etc by a company called Piccolino, but I believe they've gone bust now, unfortunately, according to this page http://www.87thscale.info/piccolino.htm[/b]

yup I think thats the one I was thinking of, I've got a red Sunbeam record car produced by them, pretty good really for a modern tin toy.
