Apparently there is a lobby trying to keep Madeira Drive closed permanently. This, I understand, poses a threat to many events including the London to Brighton Veteran Car run.

Although this petition has been around for a while I am posting it here for anyone who wishes to sign it.

Signed. I sometimes think that the UK has never totally got rid of its "Man with Red Flag" attitude.

Which is why a red flag is symbolically ripped up at the beginning of every London to Brighton Run.
