not a good advert for rear engined cars is it!!! and whats with the fella sliding a Beetle convertible around, loaded with passengers??! Shocked could have been grim, if he hadn't caught that slide and it'd flipped over ..

That open top car was just mad!!!Close scrape too for the bloke who falls out of his Beetle! lucky it was in the sand trap and the car didn't roll! Shocked

Great piece of nostalgia,Dave.Thanks for that.I think it's more like late 60's though,judging by the cars.Iloved the guy on the bike flying in the air,but he held on to it.Brave man!
I don't know about rear engined cars Rick,it seems more like an advert showing how to outdrive your talent Laughing
The guy in the (front drive)silver Ford Taunus had the right idea.Kept his boot buried and steered himself out of trouble.And it shows BMW drivers were already pillocks back then Laughing Laughing .
And there's the eternal optimist,the little DAF44 trundling past the rolled VW.I assume he was timed in days.Great stuff.
