As some of you know, I started to write a restoration book a while ago.

At present, I am researching into the refinishing. Is there anyone that has practical experience of some of the newer products on the market, such as Corrosion Inhibiting Primers or Galvanising Agents?

Also, is there anyone that has tried using one of these new fangled HVLP, or even LVLP sprayguns?

Never used 'em, but the galvanising agents sound interesting - can they only be used on new metal?

As far as I can understand, the galvanising agents are used as a wipe-on refinish, so therefore it should be possible to use them on old metal. I haven't a clue if I'm right or wrong, but hopefully someone knows!

How about the primers?
