Any experience of using Owatrol Oil? the claim is that it can be applied to bare steel and will act as a rust inhibiter, also can be added to oil or alkyd paints again to prevent future rust.

I saw it used yesterday on the Repair Shop; Dominic Chinea applied it directly, to maintain an "oily rag" finish to a WW11 container.

I have been using it for years, like it a lot. It really keeps rust away.
The local ship yard use them, actually are a selling point for Owatrol.
