This photograph came over while I was away, can anyone help with an id for it??
with the following info:
"Hiya,
Could you please help me in identifying this caravan, I know it's over 40 years old, the hub caps have BB on them, if that's any help. I notice it's door is on the offside, perhaps a foreign made model? If It was put up for sale, what sort of "rough" guide price should be asked? It's in very good condition, "new" remoulds put on 18 months ago, no leaks/damp of any sort (paint work a bit sorry), Sorry about the quality of the pictures, just that the rain had eased slightly enough to take these!!" _________________ Rick - Admin

My 1965 Bailey of Bristol has B/B on the hubcaps so it could be a Bailey. Can you read the numbers on the maker’s plate? If so the guy at my caravan storage yard is very knowledgeable, he may be able to identify it. The fact the door is on the “wrong” side seems to indicate foreign but my van has the seats/bed at the back not at the A-frame like most caravans these days, which is a bit odd, so it may have just been made that way. |

no idea what the van is but the BB on the hub caps is B&B Trailers LTD of
Leamington spa who supplyed complete CHASSIS to several caravan manufacturers in the 1950s and 1960s

This could possibly be a Catusa caravan made by Caravanas Turisticas of Spain.
I sold chassis components, suspensions and couplings to them when I was Export Manager of B & B. |
