My father in law has recently gone into a nursing home and my wife has been going through his (very) detailed records to see what needs to be saved, etc.
What has come to light are a series of receipts for cars bought and sold in the 1960's.
These are:
1958 Ford Pop : VOV 207
1959 Ford Anglia: 2908 RE
1965 Ford Cortina DL: CDH 244C

The Pop and the Anglia are not on the DVLA database, and the system is currently down, so I have not been able to check the Cortina, but if anyone has one of these cars lurking in a shed/hedgerow somewhere, I would be happy to supply them with the original purchase invoice.
