Morning all, the latest upload looks at recent attempts to persuade the MGB into life, dilemmas regarding the Anglia, and a spot of Morris action with my youthful assistant.

Hi all, the latest upload gathers together photos of pre-war (ie vintage & post-vintage) tourers, drophead coupes and other open-top cars of the 1900s-1930s period. Includes cars such as the New Carden, Panhard et Levassor, Zust, and many more.

The latest upload is of our ride out in the Anglia to a morning meeting held at a rural cafe, quite a mix of old and not-so-old-but-interesting cars turned up.

Thanks Peter.
A while back someone on Youtube suggested that I do an "about me" type video, while others have asked if I'm a mechanic, or vehicle restorer(!). OCC has always been about the cars and such like, not me, but having mulled it over for weeks I decided to put a vid together about how I got involved with old cars, how my O level Computer Studies project ended up funding my first project (my attempts at being the British Bill Gates...), and why I set up OCC in the first place, some 20+ years ago.
It wasn't something I was entirely sure about doing, but after a little prodding I did it anyway.

Thanks Peter, the cars have featured on the main site for a long time but I thought after 20 years maybe I should share a bit of my background. I much prefer being the other side of the camera though.

Last Monday we headed over to Weston Park for their classic car show, the first time since 2009 that we'd been to this one. Footage of it just went live to the OCC YT channel.

Very wide ranging and diplomatic commentary. I thought I had a fair general knowledge of old cars but I certainly wouldn't want to be on an opposing team to Rick in a quiz.

Morning all, today's upload sees the Anglia's paintwork receive a little TLC, plus I reminisce about finding boxes of old motor products (also from 1952) in the back of a scrapyard van.
