				| I have been using them for 70 years and they were always called Jubilee clips even the ones made by other companies. Goodness knows when they first appeared. |  |

				| Hi Jubilee clip has become an unenforceable brand just as Biro and Hoover seem to have. To Hoover even became a verb.
 Common usage over a period of time does this and there have been legal cases where Brand ID has not been upheld because of it.
 
 This is why a certain IT company want you to refer always to doing a Web Search rather than "I Googled it".
