It's incredibly well done though! Look at the chrome waist line and profile of the side panel relatiive to the front door, and the side window matches the
door window too.
That said I can't imagine BMC fittng rear light clusters like those in the early '50s.

Certainly very similar but maybe the Vanguard ones have a sort of half inch wall all the way round the base whereas the A40 one just rises for each lamp..
