IMHO the future of motoring will certainly see vehicles drive being an electric motor, but the power source won't be a huge battery, it will be a hydrogen generator.

Absolutely agree re hydrogen, it will come eventually, but not until battery technology has been found wanting on a large scale. Hydrogen will be stored in a tank - a pressurized tank to be sure, but still mature and long lasting technology made from comparitively cheap and readily obtained materials. Batteries, on the other hand, use all sorts of rare and expensive metals that investors can make an absolute killing on for very little effort - and that is why our politicians are pushing them so hard. |
