Not something that everyone would approve of but there is always the potential to create a replica 'March Special'. That way you keep the essence of the Marque but add something of value.

This Lagonda 16/80 - probably the least-desirable of pre-war Lagondas - is estimated at ?70,000-90,000 - whose going to pay that (plus sales commission) when a 3-litre isn't selling at less than ?40,000?

I think what it shows is that Auction Houses are all over the place when it comes to their pre sale estimates.
That 3 litre certainly looks like it is reasonably priced...although I am not sure I am very keen on the blue, black and red combination! |
