Does any one know anything about a camshaft with R 8 on it, its difernantly a7 or a10 but probally a ftermarket unit. just aquirred one in a box of bits, like to know if its as good as a spitfire or better thank you |

Charlie, I'm pretty sure that R8 was the factory designated identification of the Spifire camshaft, bear in mind hat this particular profile was used in several applications. It's rather late now, but I'll speak to my brother tomorrow and seek confirmation, he's a BSA encyclopedia on legs!
