|
|
We store our big Hillman at a farm about 15 minutes away from us. It's general undercover storage so there are some cars, some Caravans and a couple of vintage Fire Engines.
We are booked into a show today, we drove over with a charged battery and some fresh fuel only to find when we got there that some clever clogs has parked a caravan right in front of us, put its legs down and had all it's wheel locks on...to say I'm fuming is an understatement.
So, no chance of getting the car out to get to the show. Our early Sunday morning start being totally in vain. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

If there is no chance of getting the caravan shifted, I would remove his tyre valves.... |

I rent some storage, its on a farm, fortunately if this situation arises, which it has once, there is plenty of heavy farm machinery to get just about anything lifted and or moved |

I sympathise, one of my previous neighbours was prone to leaving his van in the way of my door. Fortunately he left last year and the new neighbours are the ideal "we're hardly ever here" type. _________________ 1976 Vauxhall HP Firenza, 1976 Vauxhall Sportshatch (x2), 1986 Audi coupe quattro, 2000 Audi TT

Tbh, the caravan was parked across us the last time we went to use the car. The owner of the sheds came out and said to us to just move it out of the way, he was happy with that.
Our issue Sunday was that the legs were down and it had a wheel lock on it...
Perhaps the caravan owner didn't appreciate us moving his van about without his permission??
Pretty crap whatever. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
