I'm a bit behind with keeping this section of the forum updated.

We bought this '34 PA earlier in the year following the departure of our '40s Dodge pickup. It was restored around 5-6 years ago I believe, I've not owned anything old and sporty for quite some time. Since restoration it has completed one or two continental trips which gave me some confidence in it (although the previous owner was based on the south coast, so handy for ferries etc).

So far we've had it to quite a few gatherings, it's certainly a full-on driving experience. The original PA engine has been replaced by a PB unit (slightly larger capacity), both are overhead cam crossflow engines and very revvy.

When it arrived, the battery wasn't charging, but a clean-up of the points in the cut-out sorted that. I also had a rear wheel spoke break after clattering over a rough bit of road surface, I changed that a couple of weeks ago.

I've also had to attend to a fuel leak on the SU carb, the float chamber was flooding due to the hinged arm that rests on the float fouling due to the hinge pin sliding out of its location.
