This type of request comes through quite regularly, if anyone's interested probably best contact Eddie direct (this isn't a recommendation or anything, just a plug for his request)

Hello,
My name is Eddie Stafford and I work as a producer for a London based production company called Blink Television. We produce high profile documentary films for networks like the BBC, Channel 4 and Five.
Currently we're producing a documentary film about our relationship with our cars. I'm looking for people who have a real love for their car. If you feel this might be you I'd love to talk to you - in complete confidence - to help with my background research. I must stress that by contacting me at this stage you would be making no commitment to participate in the actual film.
Please send me an email to eddie.stafford@blinktelevision.co.uk or eddiestafford@mac.com
Many thanks,
Eddie Stafford
Producer

If anyone has a smart 70s car, such as a Jaguar, and is down London way, here is a chance to make a few hundred quid and be involved in a film production. This email arrived the other day:
----------
My name is Gaelle Lindingre, the production designer of an independent feature film called "Invisible Eyes" starting shooting in two weeks time in a beautifull country house on the outskirts of London, and I am writing to you to request some urgent assistance regarding a vintage car.
We need to source an appropriate car, such as a jaguar type XJC6, or any sophisticated looking vintage car, for a period of four days.
We don't have the budget to hire from a prop house for more than a day, and are looking for an alternative way to find this vehicle. As the running condition of the car doesn't have to be perfect, we were hoping to find a compromise with a private owner. Do you have any idea how we could achieve this and who we could approach?
The maximum fee we could offer is 600.00 pounds as well as a credit on the final film.
You can check the production company on www.hidefilms.co.uk
Please let me know if you have any idea how to solve this problem.
Thanks for our help
