This question came over the other day - can anyone help at all? I've suggested contacting a relevant club to see if they can date it from the chassis number. Do Ford have a heritage archive, like BMIHT does for Austin/Morris/BMC records etc?

Hi
I found your site via Google. It has loads of great stuff but what I am looking for is how to prove my 1973 Ford van was built before Jan 73, as I believe it was. If you can point me in the right direction I'd be really grateful.
Regards

| Rick, is it a US Ford van, or a british one? US Fords are really easy to date from the VIN, but I dont know if its the same with the british ones. |
