i repaired a hole punched into an archtop guitar once, using stopper paste and epoxy. wasn't too challenging since i found the guitar in the tip, and anything done to it was an improvement!

Hi

I made an impulse buy the other day, it was in a shop window, looked really nice, I bought a Violin, even though I have never played a single instrument, I am the least musical person in the world. However I am now a proud owner of a Violin, in a nice new case, but what do I do with it, I don't really want lessons!????

Cheers

Buzzy, do you know the definition of perfect tone?

When you throw that violin into a skip & it hits a clarinet! Laughing

Seriously, if you're thinking of playing, try & get a listen to Paganini's 24 caprices Opus No.1 for Solo Violin played by Itzhak Perlman.
Remember the Southbank Show theme? Well, this is how it should be played...
