...about $1.40 a litre, LP Gas is 61cents a litre after a spate of recent increases from the 45c it was, and we were having a grizzle about that, but it doesn't seem so bad all of a sudden _________________ If it's old...it's good ! |

Makes you wonder.
If other countries can survive and prosper on a much lower level of taxation, where the heck is all our taxation money going...... _________________ ROVER

It's propping up our failing health, pensions welfare and public services, plus of course paying for Tony's war and Gordons continued mass immigration. |

Don't have to read the Daily Wail to suspect something along those lines is happening.
Although; if I lived in an Idylic remote village with roses around the door security and petrol paid for by the taxpayer, as do most of our rulers, would I worry about what the 'proles' are suffering? I like to think that I would.
For any of you that may be in any doubt; read this:

Sincere apologies for getting political, but the more people who know what is happening the best for all of us. Our village post office was 'done over' by a gang of these charmers while it was open and serving customers. The facts were not reported in the local newspaper: what the hell is going on?
Before any Guardian readers scream 'Racist' at me. My mothers family were immigrants, and I do not read the Daily Mail.

Our news media has a political agenda, and tend to ignore reports that do not support their ideology, while playing up and sensationalizing the stories that meet their needs.
As for gas, ours is still hoovering between $2.95 and $3.10 per US gallon, not sure what that translates to per liter, but still high for what we`re used too. |

1 US gallon = 3.7854118 litres.........1 Imperial gallon = 4.54609188 litres
At $3.00 per gallon that works out at around 38p per litre or 78 cents.
Looks like America has the best deals on fuel.....and all they do is complain about the price
Give me an SUV and a home in Florida. _________________ ROVER

The grass is looking greener and greener the other side of the hill.
I'm just going out for a run in the 10/4 having added a gallon of old fifty to one petroil to the tank. Don't dare risk it on the outboard and it's difficult to dispose of.
If you don't hear from me for a while you'll know it didn't work...
