Joe sent over some photos, of a 'Kew' Dodge he's rescued in NZ. He plans to restore it, and wonders how many other examples of the F264 (or similar) survive?? I don't recall ever seeing pictures of a Kew Dodge like this in the UK - were they even sold here, or was it an Oz/NZ special build??

"I have just bought this Dodge Kew from the neighbour and am starting to do it up. I'm unsure of the history yet but shall find out more when I talk to the neighbour's father that bought it. It looks to have been a left hand drive and converted at some stage. Tare weight is just over 3000 kg and comes with a scissor hoist. It has a strange blue light on the roof for what purpose I can only guess. Little rust considering its been sitting out side for the last 20+ odd years.

6 Cylinder engine (still goes when you un seize it while being towed). No brakes (Found out when started towing home today). I had a large wooden deck on it but have taken it off since getting it home."

Hiya Rick, don't think we had them here either. Looks a lot like the one you posted earlier on a different thread , can't remember the country it was in.

The blue light on the roof used to be a legal requirement when towing a trailer at night. It was virtually impossible to see anyway ,so this law was dropped in the 60's.
