I left the UK for a new life in France 4 years ago and having always been a clasic fan mostly Jaguar (I still have an S'Type 1964) i started finding French classics now the locals refer to my place as "Le Musee" I have a few vehicles to date namely;
5 Renault 4s 2vans and 3cars
2 Citroen H Vans one diesel one petrol
3 2CV6 cars
2 2CV vans both AK 400s
1 DSuper Citroen 1972
1 DS 21IE Pallas 1971 (near perfect)
In the process of purchasing a DS Prestige
Not considered a classic by most but a Mercedes G Wagen 4x4
Check my sites out for more info
I look forward to posting in the future

Hi,
Your in an enviable position, France has huge amounts of undiscovered classics and enough land to store them! Cool

Keep your eye out for an early Simca Aronde and a Panhard Dyna/PL17 to add to the collection! Laughing

Yes I have 5 hectares (about 12 acres) a big barn as well as other buildings
I have found an "aronde break" or estate but in bad condition
next on my list is Traction avant and if I can find one in need of work as i cant afford a good one at the moment my dream car Facel Vega HK500.
the trouble is although I have a long suffering wife I have to keep the garden tidy and not looking like a scrap yard Rolling Eyes That is nt easy when people just drop by and ask if I want to buy or just give me cars Laughing

I bought her in 1991 She is a 1964 3.8 manual with Overdrive with only 68000miles on the clock being parked up against a garage in 1977 because it failed an MOT
She took me 5 years from this
