Hi
Never had a bear take any of our honey, but my eyes are now open, just in case!
He he!

Several beekeepers driving past the accident stopped to assist.
How exactly? Maybe they all ran and shouted "Shoo!" |

Hi
Poor little girls, I would have stopped to help them, if I was there, and I am allergic to bee venom! he he
I would say they donned there suits and got the crates, finding the queens to put inside, the bees will then follow, or maybe using some swarm lure. The other option is to smoke them, to mask the smell of the stinging phermone that causes more to sting, once one has done the deed.
That is what I would do, then simply brush them into new crates if only to get them away from people passing by.
Cheers

You mean to say that Beekeepers who just happened to be passing would happen have all that equipment with them?
You just never know what people carry around in their boot/trunk these days |

Hi
Yep, normally me and dad have our bee stuff in the car, during the season anyway, as we may get called for a swarm.
Now you all think I am really wierd! hehe
