It looks like a prewar Talbot Ten to me; somewhere underneath there is a Hillman Minx lurking. I think they became Sunbeam-Talbots after the war, but I don't know if this model survived.

Some friends of mine years ago had a Singer Roadster (plus a '34 Le Mans), nice car to drive around in!! what colour is yours?
