I say chaps, if anyone happens to come across a pair of Citroen 2cv headlamp shells let me know won't you there's a good fellow.

The items required are the early type with the tell-tale lens in the top as in the pictures.

I had been winning those very lamps on the French ebay site, but at the very last moment they were taken off me by johnny foreigner, damned bad form if you ask me!
Anyway, let me know if you're selling any of these blighters won't you? Toodle- pip.

There's a 2CV in our local yard but i doubt it's an early one. Failing that the Frome 2CV centre is only 5 minutes away if you want me to ask them? They seem to have everything in there.

Hi Craig,

Frome 2cv are probably THE best restorers of 2cv's in the country today (He says offending all others in one fell swoop) due to the 'bare metal' approach to restoration.
They'd possibly have some, if you're ever passing you could pop in and ask the price.

Thanks chaps, the ones in the photo were almost like new and sold for 35 euro each while my back was turned...Grrrr.. Laughing
