I'm just back from holiday in Florida and at a swapmeet inside Daytona Raceway I came across this little scorcher -
I reckon the seat position should suck those painful little so-and-so's right off!!!!!!
These are some of the other vehicles that were there, this one by all accounts is extremely quick - I think you could guess why, they're the biggest superchargers I've ever seen ----- and two of them!
And some of more of the ones that caught my eye -
I caught this Aston parked during the St Petersburg Grand Prix, its stable-mate is loud when its in full song -

I wouldn't disagree with you UJ, you're the Chrysler man.
I had a quick look through my books and that grille certainly was new for '56, and the whole body shape changed for '57, so I reckon you're spot on.

PLEASE tell me that wasn`t a "for sale" sign in the 29 Pontiac, and I sat out the show!
A while back I saw a 32 Pontiac for $5000 a couple states away. I mentioned it to Deb, and she said "Hook up the trailer, let`s go get it if you want it".
It would have been better if she`d said NO! FORGET IT! Leaving ME to decide I can`t spend the money right now was just downright cruel, LOL! _________________ "The only thing I`m sure of.....is that I`m not sure of anything!" |

It was for sale old gto -
1929 6-cylinder Pontiac
Drives good, 34000 miles.
I can't remember the price, and the price is blurred on my photograph but I think its $7000.
Next time you'll buy your plants on a Sunday!

LOL!
It`s just as well. It would have hurt to see it with empty pockets.
But it still would`ve taken you, Barb, AND Deb to drag me .... kicking and screaming .... away from there. Imagine how embarassing THAT could`ve been!
(And as a bonus, the plants got me 2 month`s worth of "brownie points" with the missus, you KNOW how valuable THAT is, LOL!) _________________ "The only thing I`m sure of.....is that I`m not sure of anything!" |
