Have you ever sold a car you wish you had kept....Years ago I had a lovely Mk1 Ford Consul. Black it was with deep chrome, exterior sun visor and whitewalls. Exterior sun visors look the mutts nuts. I am getting a Ford one modified for the marina....but I still wish I had the Consul. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

It has to be my Vauxhall Senator, I missed the car a couple of hours after selling it
Sorry the pictures are not great, I took them from a screen shot on video as I don't have a picture of the car

There are several cars that I regret selling, but the one I most regret was stolen from me. An ex-Chrysler Competitions Sunbeam Rapier H120...still miss that car today... |

There are one or two cars that I have sold as recently as last year that I wish I still had, although they were sold due to unexpected change in circumstances rather than by choice.
My Standard vanguard is sorely missed, but was sold for it's own sake as I didn't have a garage for it then, I'd have that car back in a flash.
My 103e Popular, well I didn't have it long enough before I was made 'an offer I couldn't refuse' and it went south.
And my '53 Austin Somerset was the one that upset me most, a lovely solid old car begging for a small amount of TLC to make it roadworthy, sold for a pittance when I lost the affore-mentioned garage space. |

Aston Martin DBS it needed to much work to keep it but I did pay 10k for it and sell it for 15k
I now wish I had not and persevered with it I know who has it and see it occasionally and still yearn for it _________________ www.OldFrenchCars.com

Before you start, if it's a fastback, then I've lost interest.
We had a 1964 Rapier, was sad when that was sold. But we'd bought the Snipe and couldn't afford to keep both, plus the Rapier needed a lot of work. _________________ 1953 Humber Hawk

It was a 1966 Pontiac GTO. I NEVER should have sold it. It was the most fun, and all around the best car I ever had. _________________ "The only thing I`m sure of.....is that I`m not sure of anything!" |
