hello,
my father is trying to get together photos of all his cars.
He is missing a
1960-61 Singer Gazelle Stationwagon (dark green)

if anyone has a photo of this kind of car and would be willing to forward it to me, it would be greatly appreciated

THanks

I did an advance - Google - Images search . "Singer Gazelle Estate" and came up with some photos.

Didn't look through for a dark green one.

"taken by perhaps one of the world's worst photographers.. "

You should see some of my pictures Laughing .I don't think they were all that bad, except the one where the photog included his own shadow!
I rather liked the Cortina GT wagon below it.Was that a factory model in it's day?I saw a MK1 GT wagon at a local show, and wondered then if it was a factory job.
I owned a 58 Minx wagon in the early 70's,to which I fitted an aftermarket floor change. But I knew nothing of selectors and such,so the change pattern was in a "mirror"position,i.e. 1st gear was right and forward. The whine was unbelievably loud. The quality of that remote gear change must have been a little bit suspect.

Hi poodge, perhaps my remarks were a tad harsh, but they were said with tongue fully engaged in cheek.

What crossed my mind was that if one is going to go to the trouble of taking documentary photographs of a vehicle then perhaps spend a little time actually looking through the viewfinder.

In the end of course the vehicle was quite well recorded and I guess begs the question, where is it now ?
