Ooh I've come on late today and missed this!
So what's it like then? Is that the one they call the Chatalaine? Looks pretty solid, wonder if it's complete? No windscreen and front wheels so might not be all there? What's that at the back of it...a saloon one? |

I took this photo from afar but today if I can i am "going over the fence"
and knocking on doors, not necessarily in that order I could see 4 cars in total one looked like an R4
I am going to see the "terracotta army of the 1st emperor of china" today as its on display in Limoges so I will do it after _________________ www.OldFrenchCars.com

Yes that's one UJ, must have been built on license out there too.
I don't know what it is with these old French cars, most of them have a 'face' only a mother could love and yet find them absolutely charming!
That model of Aronde (A9) is certainly on my wish list, so too is a four light 2cv with suicide doors, here's one for sale at just 300 Euro's, although I would think it's pretty rotten by the look of how it's been stored...such a shame!

It's on leboncoin somewhere Greeney. Take a look by all means if it's nearby, it does look complete and 2cv's are fixable whatever the state
That's the ad above the photo's, the only pic missing is the one of the interior (open to weather..shudder!) it's not been on long just a week or so, at that price It'd be daft not to investigate I suppose..one of us should have it |

My mistake Greeney it was listed on this site that I was browsing this morning...lower down the page.
http://www.ma2cv.com/annonces.php?s_type_produit=3
Even with the floors and chassis undoubtedly rotted out it has to be worth 300 Euro, that's only about £240 or so isn't it? Although my current interest would be primarily the bodyshell and doors I feel that as the car looks complete and original it might be worth considering as a restoration project to follow the one I'm doing.
If you do go let me know what you think |
