I'd say that was strong money for a Pop but if it is what it says then worth every penny.

I agree about the price.
At last years Tatton park show there was what I thought to be a concours rebuild Ford Pop for sale at £3000 ono.
On closer inspection I still thought it to be a concours rebuild until I read the card in the window properly "Original 40,000 miles - never restored!" Shocked

I guess if you really really wanted a Pop, and one that (hopefully) hadn't been bodged about with, somewhere around £3k would be fair enough for a special example, especially with all the history/paperwork that this one seems to have. But I'd want a good close look before shelling out, just in case all that glistens isn't gold..

Me I'd rather have a tidy original Pop, but not perhaps as super-shiny as this one, for somewhere around half that figure if I could find one

Hmmm...I seem to have a two grand threshold for classics too, you can still get something use-able without having to be so precious about it.
