When I had my Ital Estate a few years ago it was on the telly twice. The first time it was away for 3 days to be on Monarch of the Glen. Got £300 for that one and then it was on The Key,that was £150. Its great to see your car on TV. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

I did a few films when I owned my 97 Crown Victoria and I got to be in the films as well. Good fun but long days sitting about. _________________ 1964 International Harvester |

A couple spring to mind -
The pictures above are from the Scotsman series of TV ads where my Chevy was used as a backdrop for a cool dude walking down a Glasgow street. Now what relevance an old American car in Glasgow has to do with an Edinburgh newspaper I'm not really sure (apart from trying to increase wider circulation), but it paid well.
The other "TV" appearance is when police officers in Stirling pulled me over for driving too fast on the motorway coming back from a show, showed me committing the offence on their VASCAR TV unit and gave me a telling off. However once the official part was over everything relaxed to a conversation about the Chevy they asked if there was anything else I'd like to add before we went on our separate ways, to which I innocently mentioned "My car looks really cool on TV, doesn't it" - they threw me out of their car!!!!!!!
What did I say... what, what!!!!? |

Just thinking 47p2. A Rover P2 has turned up a couple of times in the 'Poriot' thrillers. Usually driven by the villain... was that you? (the car not the villain.) |

Sorry to disappoint pigtin but I would more likely be the villain.
Not my car I'm afraid,, mine has only been in the Stone of Destiny.
I believe the movie is being previewed in Edinburgh very soon _________________ ROVER

Not good pigtin, not good at all.
I'm not sure if it is a P2 or a P3. The wheels look to be 16" which the P3 was fitted with (P2s were fitted with 17" wheels) but that could be the camera angle and the vehicle leaning over to the near side causing the illusion.
The wheel arches look like they could have a moulding round them which would indicate P2. The P3 never had this moulding _________________ ROVER
