Cool It is amazing what you buy at the autojumble at car shows. Last year at Lauder I got 2 brand new rear marina brake adjusters for 50p.At Scone Palace I got 6 Kelloggs cereal bowls brand new for £2. That was the collection years ago with frosties and cocopops etc on them. I tend to find that I buy a load of rubbish just for the sake of it that I really dont want or its something I havent seen for years. Probably because I very seldom find marina bits. I love raking through old boxes and junk. You never know what you might find.
Mind you there are a lot of traders selling cheap crap tools that you can buy in any warehouse. I stay well clear of them.
My wife loves to browse as well. Its like an open air market at some of the shows. If you took away the clothes and shoes stalls and the bric a brac there would be very little real autojumble. But its good fun anyway. Cool

That`s it. It`s all about the thrill of the hunt. Pawing through a box one day, the seller asked me, "What are you looking for?" I replied, "I won`t know WHAT I`m looking for until I actually SEE it!"
And so it goes with treasure hunts. I have specific targets in mind when I go, but often come away with things I never dreamed I`d find.

And I've seen the proof that he still doesn't know what it is that he's bought!

I normally buy things that - when I get home - don't actually fit Embarassed
