Hi

I knew this would happen at some point, and it did, big time this morning, about 8.30!

A really nasty experience, worse than every other small slip up in the past.

Well as some of you may know, I have landed some work on a farm, installing some machinery, but I was helping out, scraping the shed out today, jump over a fence, and what do you know, about a foot of Slurry on the other side. If that wasn't bad enough...

I lost my footing, and slipped, lieing down on the job, I was caked in it! All up my nose, in my mouth, ears, in my hair, through my overall pockets to my jeans, my wellies filled up.

Well it was a bad experience, and whats more after a bit of a wash, I worked all day. Things like this are normally comical looking back, but this doesn't seem to be like that! EERRGGHHRR

Don't tell my sister what is in the washer, the water through the door is green and lumpy! hehe Wink

Cheers

Dave

I once walked into a slurry pit as a kid, thought it was a dried-up pond, sank in up to my waist and if I hadn't managed to hold on to some reeds I would probably have drowned, what a way to go. They stripped me naked and had to hose me down for ages before I was allowed back into the house. Confused

Hi

The pit/lagoon, looks a nasty place, it does look crusty, but you dump something in it, and it ripples thike thick custard.

Cheers
