.. or maybe a Vauxhall-powered kit? either way its a smart looking machine, does anyone recognise it? Mick sent these photos over and the following info:

"The car was photographed recently in Annapolis, Maryland, USA. The badging
indicates its a Vauxhall, but not one I'm familiar with.

something tells me it's a rebadged Mazda Mx5 or Miata....... but i could of course be wrong.

I see where you're coming from 62, the hood and the well it sits in reminds me of the MX5 we had a little while back.

i think the market for conversions drove the makers into actually working for their money! the really shoddy kits quickly got enough bad press to keep customers away, and the good ones profited by it. for a conversion, it looks pretty nice; miata's are nice. dependable cars anyway. beats having folks cut up MGB's for a change!
