Some mobile phones have a digital camera built in these days. Mine has.
I took this clip at Santa Pod a couple of weeks ago, but I've used Photobucket as the host...

This is a film I shot at the beginning of the year looking around the VSCC hillclimb event with cars pre-war.

Hi Richard,
How do you switch YouTube to display in widescreen?

Peter,
To the right of the speaker symbol there's a rectangle, click that. ESC to exit.

Hi Art,
Sorry, I don't mean full screen 4:3, I mean 16:9 widescreen.

I don't know if you can Peter. My cameras only record in widescreen so either there is some widthwise compression or it slices off the image on each side.
Here is one from the Jim Clark Film Festival earlier this year

Hi Richard,
Thanks. Yes I had a look at Yahoo Video and Photobucket and none of them seem to support 16:9. It's quite surprising really as I'm sure they could very easily offer a switch to display as widescreen. I haven't tried it but I suspect it might be possible using their embed facility and just changing the parameters in the string.
Peter
p.s. I just tried adjusting the embed parameters but they only change the width of the control panel. The video aspect ratio remains unchanged. |

This was the introduction talk at the Bruce Castle Museum last year about plans to build a Lotus Museum on the old hornsey north London site where Lotus started in 1952
