For the member that can answer this question correctly, there will be a little prize of the most sold cars in Sweden!
Its a difficult life for me. In my own country, I am always wet. If I go to France, I am something unppleasant. In Holland, I am foolish. When I go to Sweden, people see right through me. What kind of car am I?
The prize will go to the first person that can tell me the four answers to the riddle, plus the exact make, model, and year the car was made.
Good luck to everyone! |

Nice one!
My first thought was a Volkswagen Type 1 (made from 1938-2003), as it is a Bug in France and a Bubble in Sweden but the dutch and german references have beaten my translator, unless you have other nicknames that I have not heard of. _________________ Brian

You owe me two days of my annual leave, and you are not getting any more.
From the countries of manufacture I reckon Ford and from your original clues I get to the Model T.
Tea is wet in the US, Wikipedia gives an alternative nickname of "Flivver" which may mean something in Dutch, French and Swedish, but i can't be bothered to check!
In case I am right, the dates of production were 1908 - 1927 _________________ Brian

Well Brian, full marks for trying...but I'm sorry to say, you are wrong...
To give a couple of extra clues,
I'm treated better in english speaking countries. When I'm in Australia, I'm known as a kind of dancer, but in the UK, I could be found living in some very famous residences in London, Scotland, and Norfolk.... |

Ok my last attempt
From details of the Queen's fleet of cars:
The Queen's State and private motor cars are housed in the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace.
For official duties - providing transport for State and other visitors as well as The Queen herself - there are eight State limousines, consisting of two Bentleys, three Rolls-Royces and three Daimlers. Other vehicles in the Royal fleet include a number of Volkswagen 'people carriers'.
So it is a VW Sharan people carrier.
and UJ I hate you!!! _________________ Brian

See I was right - a tank in the UK is wet, tonque in French is unpleasant, and I am sure there is a translation into Dutch and Swedish.
The Army defends the Queen and so they are also at Buck House, Balmoral and Sandringham whenever she is in residence.
As you can see this problem is driving me a little mad! _________________ Brian
