I have one of these beasties arriving today...any advice before I crank it up?

It has a 150 litre capacity with a 3hp belt drive motor Cool Spent another £100 on some tools Rolling Eyes

Primarily bought for sandblasting as I've found it takes far too long with any other method...but I'm sure I'll find many more uses for it Wink

It's now on wheels and working fine....only niggle is the pressure gauge doesn't tighten enough to be seen from the front, as in the picture.

I'll need to get hold of a 21mm spanner and grind it a bit thinner to get more purchase on the nut Shocked

Thats a fine looking bit of kit Smile

I bought a sandblaster a while ago, I think before I use it again I'll buy one of those cheapo garden sheds from B*Q, line it with polythene, and do any blasting that needs doing in that, as the grit goes everywhere!!

Aye the grit can be re-used a few times, the trick is to not let the grit get damp as it clogs the nozzle and sometimes the pick-up too

Hi

Also check the nozzles have a hole in, sometimes they are not drilled all the way through, good luck drilling it too!

Second thing, raise the shed a foot or so, and put a tube under a flap in the floor, then you just need to brush it through the flap, or mesh. Saves picking it all up.

Cheers

Dave

Now that is a GREAT idea, they're only about £99 from memory....far cheaper than any proprietary blast cabinets!

Although you'll need a shower afterwards Laughing

Now where can I put a little shed....
