Hello folks
I'm currently floating about various forums trying to get good advice about buying my first classic car, hopefully a Zephyr or Consul MKII.
I have about 4K to spend and am currently building a garage to house my "love". I have an enthusiastic man for whom I've bought a Mig welder although it'd be nice not to have to use it too often
We want a runner not a major project and would love to have a great car to visit all the shows next year.
I am a TOTAL newbie to the classic car scene and I need lots of opinions from you guys about do's AND Don'ts of car buying and ownership, good insurance companies etc etc. But specific advice about MkII zep/consul would be very much appreciated.
Please be kind......I'm a shiny new penny

Welcome Dollina.
I don't have any contacts for MkII's although I know a number of Hot Rod guys that might be able to point you in the right direction if you don't have any luck with the members here.
